This is the best Mexican restaurant in all of St Cloud, hands down. No matter how busy they are, the food comes out fast and hot. Wide variety of menu options, something for everyone. Two people can eat for right around $20, but you'd think you're eating a much more expensive meal. Immense value for your money. Also they bring a pitcher of water to the table with the chips and salsa. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Staff was very slow & kept forgetting what we'd asked for. Took about 6 asks to get a refill on chips. Nachos looked like they'd been made in a microwave. It wasn't very busy when we were in, so I was disappointed by the poor service.

Stopped in for lunch. It was very good. Get complimentary chips with 3 different dips. Large portion for lunch and even desert included!

This place is the one here in Saint Cloud. I'm not from here so outsider looking in. The staff is very nice. They just want to make sure you are truly happy. Much appreciated. The other dish I got was the------- and it was amazing. Sautéed onions mushrooms peppers and chicken with fresh tomato slices over a bed of Spanish rice smothered in cheese. Holy crap. Mind blown. I will be not happy when I go back to Michigan without this place. If u haven't been here. Stop being a douche and go

So far the best Mexican food I've had in the St. Cloud area. Food is very tasty and as close to authentic as I think i'm going to get in Minnesota! Love the slaw they bring with the chips. They have Hoya beans as an option for entrees, which I love! Staff is very attentive.

Loved dining at Hacienda! They're located where Guadalajara used to be. Everything was so pleasent. Our waiter was nice and attentive and all the rest of the staff had such great manners. Bathroom was also clean, which is always a plus. First we were served with complimentary chips, salsa, refried beans, and cole slaw. All very good and home made tasting. I had chicken chimichanga with a side of rice and refried beans. Great flavor. My boyfriend got the chicken fundido that was bursting with spices and veggies. I almost wished I ordered that instead. All had good portions. Though my dish did come out first, another waitress walking by noticed and she showed real concern and made a point to go find my boyfriends missing dish. At the end they served us a complimentary dessert of fried surgared wonton wrapper with stawberry syrup and whipped cream. So simple but so good. Great way to end our meal!

The service was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. The food was fantastic! I loved the chips accompanied by the salsa, refried beans, and some sort of slaw. I am not a cole slaw girl at all, but this was fantastic! Very fresh tasting! My husband had some kind of steak tacos and I had a burrito. The kids shared a cheeseburger and fries. Both of our meals were very good. The portions were perfect.. Just enough! The kids loved the fries but the cheeseburger was char grilled and it was very strong for a kid.. So they ate up the fries and chips and snacked on ours. Next time I will just order them either the chicken and catfish nuggets or some soft tacos. Not a big deal! At the end of the meal they serve a complimentary desert nacho with whipped cream and strawberry sauce! The kids liked it! The prices were more than reasonable! We will definitely be back! This was a great addition to the St. Cloud area! And it was soo much better than Guadalajara!

Fast and friendly service. Food was good and nice and hot. My only suggestion would be to give individual bowls of salsa. You don't always want to share with the person with you.

Fantastic! Cheaper than any other Mexican restaurant in town with much more flavor! They went above and beyond, even the atmosphere is lovely! I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
